BLESSED GOING IN AND BLESSED GOING OUT! (DT 28:6)

I have pondered on the change taking place in all of us and the feelings of change that accompany it. Here are some thoughts for you!

The Bible speaks of one of our covenant blessings; "being blessed coming in and blessed going out". I have thought about its dimensional meaning. Of course, it speaks of birth and death, but it also speaks of the changes in our lives. Called the "going and the coming".

We are "ALWAYS" doing one or the other.

When we go out it is a waging war of sorts. It is a time to battle in one way or another, it is a time to bring change and why is that? Because we are challenged. Going out is when we are hard pressed to struggle against what has already been established. It is when God wants a change and He calls on those He finds faithful to go out and do their part. One of our ultimate goals here on earth is to change the world; to make it better. To restore it back to Hashem's original intent. However the bottom-line is this, anytime we move out toward making the world better, we will experience the struggle.

There are rare moments in life that are special and we must enter them. One being the comings, called the Island of vision! A time to rest and review. A time to ponder what we have done and where we are going. These are times when it is said we willingly turn the arrow of life toward us and struggle with the change on the inside.

The bottom line is that you were born to change the world! The preacher says, there is a time for war (change the establishment) and a time for peace (rest in what He has done as you look on the inside). We sometimes find ourselves consumed with going out and being the victors over change, however the change on the inside is much more valuable and will prepare you for the goings. These are the most uncomfortable times for us because this means change in us. It is an inner battle that will sometimes redirect your life, your ministry and your relationships. It will challenge your commitment to the "goings" and challenge your ways in the past.

These are the realities of “change” in our lives. It is VERY REAL and needed. This month is a time for the "comings". Point the arrow of life inward and see what must be changed in you. Then you will go with great purpose and direction and you will bring change to the world. You will fulfill your life and your call. You will walk in His perfect will.

Today I bless you! May your goings and comings always be blessed of Hashem. May you be blessed as you come in and may you prepare to go out, for a new season is upon us in History. A new season that calls for true change. May Hashem have mercy on our weaknesses and may we press on in victory after victory!

I love you and always look forward to our next time together.
