ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER:
As a young child of 5 years old, Irma Elizabeth Diaz was dramatically "set-apart" for the Lord’s work. Those who have seen Reverend Irma for the first time, share a commonality of their description of her. It doesn’t matter the age, gender, race, or economic status of a person – all have felt an unconditional love. God’s love through her has broken down all traditional barriers. Likewise, the evidence of God’s anointing upon her life has produced faith where there was unbelief, action where there was complacency, healing where there once was sickness, hope where there was hurt and deliverance for those held captive.
The vision for UPON THIS ROCK INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES, "Attaching Creation to Their Creator" TM, is to bring man to a place of union with their Creator and, from that, to cultivate man’s fruitfulness and influence both in the heavenlies and on earth.
This vision is being implemented through a three-prong approach:
• Prophetic - Setting in motion God’s message of the hour.
• Apostolic - Establishing that which has been set in motion.
• Evangelistic - Building a solid outreach to souls from all walks of life.
Reverend Irma is having a profound impact on this End-Time Generation. Souls have come into the Kingdom and have been radically changed through this unique anointing upon her life and ministry, UPON THIS ROCK INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES.
The combination of Irma’s twenty-year
background in American Politics and Government coupled with what people are today calling a
powerful Apostolic and Prophetic ministry seems to make it’s way into every persuasion of
society as well as many denominations within the Body of Christ.
Irma’s Political and Government work began and expanded from serving on a
Grassroots level in California, and in the United States House of Representatives as a
Congressional aide to working with both the Reagan and Bush Sr. Administration through the
Republican National Committee. During her political tenure, she was asked to join Pat Robertson
first as his National Public Relations Liaison during his quest for the Presidency and then
later as his Western Regional Director for the Christian Coalition.
Her work continued in Washington DC and throughout the country as she
spearheaded many White House Briefings on behalf of the Evangelical Community. These
briefings were to discuss the appointment of Christians in the Presidential Administration
as well as the restoring of Biblical Principles in America. On a secular level, she worked
on many White House briefings with the United States Small Business Administration. As a
California Gubernatorial appointee in the early nineties, Irma was able to work through The
Commission on Improving Life through Service on issues such as education, public safety and
environmental needs in California. It was during this time that she joined the National fight
against Pornography and was asked to travel to Denver, Colorado for a three-day meeting
to educate and equip faculty members and leaders from Harvard University on the
epidemic of pornography in America.
Her secular and religious media experience began in the mid to late eighties
in national Radio and Television, eventually opening International news opportunities. For
seven years as Executive Producer, she hosted her own nationally aired Television Program,
"The Word, The Blood and The Fire" and continues to make herself available for
media work as she is invited.
As a Prophetic communicator, people are drawn to her meetings. She is known
by most as a Mother in the faith and has an appointed ministry to Government and Church leaders
as well as the Body of Christ.
She is the author of "The Breath of God", published by
Destiny Image; "The Prophetic Power of the Hour", published by Pneuma Life;
and is working on her third book to be released soon. Irma has been ordained since 1985
and has served on the Women’s Council at Azusa Pacific University, Haggard School of Theology.
She is President and Founder of Upon This Rock International Ministries and
Upon This Rock International Institute of Ministry. UTRIM is a five-fold ministry that is making
a profound impact on this end-time generation. There is a distinguishable love and powerful
anointing on her that reaches humanity for Christ from Government dignitaries to young children.
Her message spans around the world "Attaching Creation to their Creator"™ with signs and wonders following.
In the spring of 2003 she was given an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree by Covenant Life Theological Seminary in Gainesville, Georgia.
Recently she was sought out to represent the faith based community by serving on the taskforce for ethical charities. This is a taskforce that has been appointed by the Los Angeles
Police Commission to address unethical fundraising and charitable giving.
