In observing the Holy Scriptures, we find that Government always had a spiritual voice within it. Whether the voice was good or evil, it could not be denied. We see that when a Government leader took the time to consult with a true prophet of the Lord's, things went well for that nation. When they surrounded themselves with false prophets, as King Ahab did, the Government became infested with corruption. When a leader, the Bible tells us, like Pharaoh or Herod ignores the voice of a true prophet, the nation falls.
G-d Himself has ordained the institution of Government. However, a government without a G-d sent spiritual voice will lose ground, power and battles. They will defile their own people and their eye will be upon their own gain. Pastor Irma Elizabeth Diaz has become a spiritual voice in the Brazilian Government whereby she has been able to minister to members of parliament and the United Nations.
